Since 2009 when I made my first trip to South Africa, I have had an affinity and love for this country and it’s people. When I first visited, it was to be a part of a conference and city tour of Johannesburg and Cape Town. I came broken, feeling like a failure and in desperate need of spiritual refueling. It took God to send me halfway around the world to touch my heart and reconnect me to my purpose. What I thought would be a one time trip has become a ministry and passion for a people and a country.

I am so grateful for the friendships that have developed over the years and for the amazing doors being opened now. I heard Pastor Jerome Campher say today that it only takes one person standing inside the room of elevation to open the door and invite you inside. I have been invited inside of South Africa – an elevation that I do not take lightly. Just as I love the people in America and especially my home church, my family has just been extended and my heart stretched even further to embrace with love my brothers and sisters in this country. I am here to serve. God bless you!
